Double Girder EOT, Bridge Cranes Manufacturers and Supplier in India

Double Girder Bridge Cranes are most frequently used where capacities over 10 tons and/or spans of 60 to 100 ft are needed. They can be utilized in any capacity where the extremely high hook lift is required because the hook can be pulled up between the girders. Double Girder Bridge Cranes are often used where high speeds and heavy service are required, or where the crane needs to be fitted with walkways, crane lights, cabs, magnet cable reels or other special equipment.

Standard Features:

  • Design : Compact dimensions, low weight, easy to operate and easy to maintain, modular design with direct fits between components.
  • Motors: Crane uses sturdy cylindrical/ conical rotor pole-changing motors with elegant continuous cast aluminum sections, integrated safety brakes insulation class F, IP54 protection.
  • Motors: Crane uses sturdy cylindrical/ conical rotor pole-changing motors with elegant continuous cast aluminum sections, integrated safety brakes insulation class F, IP54 protection
  • Gear Boxes: Precision flat helical spur gear units in light alloy housings with case-hardened gears, high-grade surface treatment and permanent oil/grease lubrication.
  • Brakes: Single/ Dual-disc electromagnetic DC brakes featuring automatic braking on power failure. Environmentally sound brake linings designed for approx. 1 million braking operations allow long maintenance intervals.
  • Electrical Panel: Modular design, covering a very wide operating range. The systems are designed for ease of installation & maintenance and reliable operation, with fuse-less circuitry, ducted wiring and non-screwed terminals. Each drive group is equipped with a motor overload protection device to provide effective protection against inadmissible overloading.
  • Painting: Every component & part are thoroughly scrubbed & painted with two coats of primer before assembly & two coats of synthetic enamel after testing.

Special Features:

  • Limit Switches: To prevent over hoisting & over lowering of hook.
  • Push Button Stations: Extra light, handy, easy to operate, aluminum, fabricated from extruded section.
  • Soft Starts: Electric / Electronic soft start modules electrically coupled to the long travel drives to achieve jerk free, cushioned & smooth starts.
  • Maintenance Platform With Hand Railing: Easy, simple and safe maintenance of the crane extended partially or totally along the girder.
  • Buffers: Rubber buffers in various shapes and sizes with a plate or stud fixing varieties. Used for damping and vibration controls, our buffers are available in natural, Nitrile, Neoprene and other rubber materials.
  • Camber —the slight, upward, vertical curve given to girders partially compensate for deflection due to rated load and weight of the crane part.
  • Crane Cabin Operated: A crane controlled by an operator in a cab attached to the bridge or trolley.

DEFINATION:

  • Bumper (Buffer): An energy absorbing bumper or energy dissipating (buffer) device for reducing impact when a moving bridge or trolley reaches the end of its permitted travel. This device may be attached to the bridge trolley or runway stop.
  • Bridge: A vertical plate (or channel) between the girder webs, which serves to support the top cover plate and bridge and to transfer the forces of the trolley wheel load to the webs rail.
  • Diaphragm: A vertical plate (or channel) between the girder webs, which serves to support the top cover plate and bridge and to transfer the forces of the trolley wheel load to the webs rail
  • Deflection (Live Load): The vertical displacement of a bridge girder due to the weight of the trolley plus the rated load.
  • Dead Load: The weight of the crane structured steel work moving on crane runway girder with all material fastened to and supported permanently.
  • Longitudinal Travel Motion: The motion of the whole crane on its gantry or tracks is known as the longitudinal travel motion.
  • Span: The horizontal distance between centre-to-centre of the runway rails.
  • Wheel Base: The distance from centre-to-centre of the outer most wheels on the bridge or trolley, measured parallel to the rail.

POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM:

  • To hoist & cross travel through drag chain/ trailing cables. To crane through trailing cables/shrouded conductors as per customer’s choice.

CRANE CONTROL:

  • From floor through pendant push buttons/open cabin/Radio Remote Control / totally enclosed cabin, operating at 110/24 V. Electrical switch gears mounted in dust proof control panels, with suitable access for maintenance.
Cranes Selection Guide:
  • As per Indian Standard Specifications 807 and 3177 Cranes have basically divided into four Classes;
Class - I Light Duty:
  • These are normal maintenance cranes which are not in constant use. Cranes for periodical maintenance of plant and machinery come under this category. These types of cranes are required for maximum 1000 working houses per annum. Their speed is slow and the structures are light.
Class - II Medium Duty:
  • This class, perhaps covers the largest number of cranes used by the industry, in the workshop, Foundries, Processing plants, important warehouses and in fact every area where are fair degree of activity exists. These cranes are designed for maximum 2000 working hours per annum.
Class - III Heavy Duty:
  • For workshop and production shops, where the cranes, in addition to normal handling work, also become a part of the production process by helping production particularly in those workshops which run 2/3 shifts per day. The total working load on the cranes is about 3000 hours per annum.
Class - IV Extra Heavy Duty:
  • This class includes very special cranes of highest importance in the steel industry, cement industry, important strong houses and in some other selected industries. These are for continuous duty operation.
